The Breaking-TV Film Festival 2025 is proud to host the European premiere of a chilling new 10-part short form series from director Scott Vandiver, screening this October at the CEME Conference Centre in London.

The series follows a man whose seemingly ordinary suburban life is shattered by tragedy. As he struggles to contain the fallout, he encounters a malevolent stranger who takes sadistic delight in escalating his misery — turning a bad situation into something much, much worse. Dark, suspenseful, and unnerving, the project pushes the boundaries of short form storytelling.
Behind the series is Scott Vandiver, an entertainment veteran with over 20 years in the industry. Vandiver recently directed the family feature R.A.D.A.R.: The Adventures of the Bionic Dog starring Dean Cain, released domestically by Grindstone Entertainment and Lionsgate Films. His past producing credits include My Brother the Pig (Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Judge Reinhold), The Gold Retrievers (Steve Guttenberg, Billy Zane), and multiple SyFy creature features such as Sabretooth (Josh Holloway), Beneath Loch Ness (Patrick Bergin), and Alien Express (Lou Diamond Phillips).
The cast includes Preston Flagg (Criminal Minds, Agents of Shield, Drunk History) and Matthew Flynn (Gotham, Blue Bloods), with writing credits from April Smallwood (R.A.D.A.R.).
For Vandiver, this marks another bold step in his evolution as a director. After debuting with the web thriller Knawbone Creek and its 2022 follow-up, he continues to build on his knack for suspense and genre storytelling, now with a format that blends episodic intensity with cinematic style.
The premiere at Breaking-TV Film Festival offers audiences the first chance in Europe to witness this unsettling journey into fear, fate, and the darkness that lurks just beneath the surface of everyday life.
🎬 The series will screen as part of the official selection at the Breaking-TV Film Festival, October 3–5, 2025, at the CEME Conference Centre, Rainham, London.
