The Breaking TV Film Festival is thrilled to announce the appointment of Md Ashraful Alam, known in the industry as Ashraf Shishir, as a new judge for the upcoming festival. With an impressive background spanning over a decade, Shishir is a multifaceted filmmaker, scriptwriter, and human rights advocate, bringing a wealth of expertise to the festival’s judging panel.
hishir’s cinematic journey is marked by his directorial successes, including the acclaimed films “The Cart” (Gaariwala) and “The Inner Sound” (Gopon), which have won recognition in more than 100 international festivals across 33 countries, securing 26 awards. His innovative approach to filmmaking is exemplified by his creation of the “Free Length Film” style and his debut feature “The Innocence” (Amra Ekta Cinema Banabo), which holds the record as the longest fiction film globally with over 21 hours of content.
In addition to his directorial achievements, Shishir has a robust background in festival jury roles. His extensive experience includes serving as a jury member at numerous prestigious film festivals around the world:
