A new era of community-driven recognition begins at the 4th annual edition.

LONDON, UK – The Breaking-TV Film Festival is proud to announce the introduction of a Voting Members Panel for its 2025 edition—marking a major milestone in the festival’s commitment to transparency, diversity, and community engagement within the film industry.
For the first time, a select group of approved voting members will have the opportunity to actively participate in determining the winners across various categories, including Best Film, Best Short, Best Director, Best Actor, and more. Comprised of industry professionals, past nominees, alumni filmmakers, critics, and cultural contributors, this panel will bring fresh perspective and credibility to the festival’s judging process.
“This is a major step forward in building a more inclusive and collaborative festival experience,” said Festival Director’s Jordan & Anir. “By bringing in a diverse body of trusted voices, we’re ensuring that the stories we honour truly reflect the depth, impact, and innovation present in today’s independent cinema.”
Voting members will gain early access to screened selections, attend exclusive programming events, and cast their votes during the official voting period ahead of the awards ceremony in October.
As the festival continues to grow into a recognised platform in London’s film landscape, the introduction of voting members underscores its mission: to champion bold storytelling while cultivating a global creative community.
Applications to join the voting panel are by invitation only for 2025, with future editions expected to expand eligibility.
