The Breaking-TV Film Festival 2025 proudly announces the festival premiere of Fountain of Youth, a razor-sharp mockumentary satire from London-based filmmaker Ajitpal Babbra, screening this October at the CEME Conference Centre, Rainham, London (RM13 8EU).

Wealth, vanity, and ambition collide in this witty short film that follows Julian Murphy (Paul Maclaughlin), a wealthy CEO who shocks the public when he unveils a new technology promising eternal youth. While seeking investors and validation, Julian finds the world around him spiraling out of control—including his family, who must grapple with the chaos left in the wake of his obsession.
With biting humour and a keen eye for human behaviour, Fountain of Youth explores how far people will go to preserve power, appearance, and influence, even as their personal lives collapse.

Written, directed, and produced by Ajitpal Babbra, alongside producer Chirag Gadhvi, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Jacob King as Daniel Parker and Danielle Olivia Wood as Amy Hoddle.
Babbra, whose previous shorts Joggers and Infidelity earned acclaim on the festival circuit, brings his signature style of satirical storytelling to this latest work.

“Our team are proud of what we’ve created,” Babbra shares. “Fountain of Youth is both narratively and technically sharp, and we hope audiences will laugh, reflect, and ultimately question our culture’s relentless obsession with staying young.”
🎬 Fountain of Youth makes its festival premiere at the *4th Annual Breaking-TV Film Festival, October 3–5, 2025, at the CEME Conference Centre, Rainham, London.
